  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to GSK
  • Ensure you know the company values, work out if they match your own personal opinions before applying as it is important to work in a company which you share the same values with. If you do follow the same values make sure you draw upon them during the interview/assessment centre and give examples of how you have displayed and used those values in the past. Research the area you're applying for inc. the specific site. Use your previous experiences in all of your interview/assessment centre questions - examples will take you a long way (however don't use uni team projects as your only example of team work, managers know that team projects are mandatory at uni, they want to see examples of your own initiate and team work). Prepare! There will be scenario based questions so think about topics you could talk about. Have a good basic knowledge of the area, they wont be expecting you to know everything. If you dont know the answer, be honest and tell them your thought process instead. Use the correct GSK logos and themes within your presentations if required. Everyone is really helpful, connect with GSK employees/IP's on linkedin and learn more about their experiences.
