Overview
Tracking sales performance, developing relationships with your buyers, including presenting to them, entertaining them. developing a forecast for the year on your account, understanding the profit and loss of your business, working with your team on landing sales opportunities, organising events with your customer. Negotiating costs
Skills
Yes! So many new skills. Working with excel, financial skills, forecasting, negotiating, selling, data analysis, implementing strategy, presenting.
Responsibilities
Huge responsibility for your own account. E.g I lead the relationship with a retailer and all the sales into it. I also manged one brand with a retailer which was my sole responsibility.
Support & Guidance
support from my line manager was incredible, she would would always prioritise my needs and support me whenever I needed it. The wider team were also great and I developed a network of colleagues who I could go to for different advice.
Culture
Atmosphere is great. Culture was wonderful. Everyone is a community. You don't feel like you are working for a huge corporation which was lovely.
Your Impressions
I loved it! It was very challenging at times but allowed me to develop so many skills which I will use in my career.
