  • Office work with lots of research and presentations but also some creative opportunities to design interfaces and work with end-users

  • I was given lots of responsibility both within my assigned project and with other opportunities I chose to take on.

    Support & Guidance

  • I had a technical co-ordinator who gave me assistance with learning the system, where everything was, how to use software. I also had regular catch-ups with them to check I was getting on ok, as well as regular formal reivews

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The atmosphere was great, everyone is always happy to help and answer questions. The hybrid working makes it very flexible and helps everyone maintain a good work-life balance.

  • I loved my placement, it has been a really nice place to work with reasonable expectations of my skills as an Undergraduate and plenty of support as well as helping me consider my future career opportunities.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to MBDA
  • Be yourself, be confident and friendly, don't be afraid to ask questions and if they ask you technical questions, they are generally very understanding of your background and expertise so you don't need to worry about getting it wrong as long as you give a justified answer
