Overview
Working on a seeker model in matlab and simulink to develop RF capabilities. Working in an office.
Skills
Developed a host of skills from software skills to general business skills. Have learnt a huge amount overall.
Responsibilities
Yes, the autonomy to guide my own work and produce functionality to the best of my ability, learning skills that I could then pass on to other parts of the team.
Support & Guidance
Lots, a great manager who guided me in the software used for the job and was very helpful with explaining difficult concepts. Additional company provided courses to develop understanding of new ideas.
Culture
Very engaging but with a laid back atmosphere, Hard work can get you a long way but there is no pressure to overwork and burnout. There is a very good company culture of putting employees first.

Great placement, had lots of fun, worked hard and learnt more than I expected about all aspects of working and engineering.

Be yourself and show that you have a passion and drive. Being ready and excited to learn is more important that knowing everything already.
