    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Managing projects, working with both site teams and contractors to install machinery on site. Lots of people management in the lead up to installation, then on the spot problem solving in engineering scenarios as well as making sure all health and safety regulations are followed to keep everyone safe. I have taken on multiple projects of my own as well as helping the team with any ongoing projects as well

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • My confidence has increased massively, as well as my general engineering knowledge in real life scenarios. I am also much better using excel and CAD as these are things I have had to use during my time here. My people skills have also improved as I have more interaction in meetings and that is a big part of this role
