Overview
We learnt more about the different divisions through attending insight sessions, and we learnt some fundamental Investment Banking technicals. We also worked on a group project, which we presented on the last day.
Skills
Valuation methods, amongst other Investment Banking Technicals, as well as further developing a multitude of soft skills - for example, how to network effectively.
Business Insight
Understanding the business and the potential roles was an incredibly valuable experience. The divisional sessions gave us a beneficial insight, and this, coupled with the work shadowing, made this experience extremely informative.
Culture
The general atmosphere was welcoming and inclusive. The professionals we met were friendly and approachable. Their honesty in sharing their experiences made the Spring Insight Programme more enriching. Overall I would say the culture is one of support, respect, and excellence.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight; I appreciated the various opportunities to learn more about the company. It was an engaging and informative experience, and I enjoyed working on the group project.
