Overview
On the first day we had a building tour and a tour of the archives - something special about Rothschild given that it is a family owned institution. During the programme we had introductions to Global, Debt and Equity Advisory, and we worked in groups on a project which we presented to a panel of bankers on the last day.
Skills
Yes! I was able to enhance my knowledge of the industry and the key skills needed to succeed by workshadowing analysts. Additionally, undertaking a group project allowed me to build my teamwork skills, and my communication skills, especially when having to present it to a panel of bankers on the last day!
Business Insight
It was incredibly rewarding, it was great to gain an insight into the different divisions and really interesting to learn about specific roles that I didn't know were available!
Culture
The culture was the highlight of the week, the firm has an exceptional culture, it's inclusive, diverse and promotes the wellbeing of its employees. In addition, it allows it's employees to strive to be the best they can be at what they do!
