Overview
It was a 4-days long programme. The first day was an introduction to Rothschild & Co as well as an "introduction to investment banking" session. The following days consisted of more specific talks from the different teams at the firm as well as networking sessions, online social events and workshops. Throughout the programme a case study was done which was presented on the last day.
Skills
I definitely developed my communication skills through the case study as well as my teamwork skills as this was done in groups of 7. I developed and enhanced a lot of my knowledge on investment banking technicals thanks to the different workshops, especially the Financial Edge learning.
Business Insight
Everyone at Rothschild was really helpful in terms of explaining the business and the potential roles available. The analysts that work at the firm were happy to answer any questions we had regarding their experience or the industry. Overall, the Rothschild & Co team has very clearly explained through the programme how the firm works and what roles would be available.
Culture
Everyone was really helpful, happy and just transmitted the feeling of a family. Overall, the experience with Rothschild & Co was amazing, it is a company with great values and nice atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I absolutely loved the programme. I think it was very well structured, there was a very good balance between panel talks, workshops and social events. The amount they taught us in just four days is fascinating.
