Overview
Day-to-day tasks involved attending presentations which introduced the different divisions of the bank as well as networking with the other interns as well as the professionals. The hands-on aspect of the internship was the final presentation whereby we presented on a potential merger/acquisition.
Skills
I was able to further my understanding of the M&A deal process as well as develop my public speaking and presentation skills.
Business Insight
It was extremely insightful as we were introduced to not only their global advisory devision but also their mid-market team; Arrowpoint Advisory. We were also lucky enough to learn about their Wealth Management and Merchant Banking divisions and the possibilities of roles within those teams.
Culture
The company culture was one of the things which really attracted me to Rothschild initially. Everyone is extremely welcoming and it is evident that team work is at the core of the company's principles.

I really enjoyed the insight week and am looking to hopefully further my career at Rothschild.
