Overview
The insight gave us an introduction to the bank and different bank areas and taught us some technical aspects of investment banking. There were different activities on a day-to-day basis including presentations, training, work shadowing, group work and panels.
Skills
Yes, the financial edge training session was very helpful in developing my technical skills. I also learnt how to create a pitch deck and learnt some banking jargon.
Business Insight
There was a session for each area of the bank which was helpful in understanding the potential roles available and how they are all interconnected to some extent. We were also able to ask lots of questions.
Culture
The company culture and atmosphere was very friendly and not too serious which was great as a spring intern.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the insight. I learnt alot and the cohort of girls were all supportive and lovely. The team were very helpful and the workers were also always happy to help and talk.
Yes
I would recommend they learn more about the firm and network to do well in the interviews.
