    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • Got to shadow senior associates and get in loves with client meetings over the phone. It was great to learn about how client relationships are maintained and how an audit is actually done. The process was quite smooth as we learnt a lot but also had a lot of time to do our own activities including a self reflection diary. We got given a tour of the office so it was quite easy to navigate by ourselves.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I’ve learnt some accounting terminology that I wasn’t familiar with previously so I’m glad that I have learnt that. Also, I’ve developed my networking skills and my confidence levels have gone up as I spoke to a lot of the staff and got to know them quite comfortably.
