Overview
In a day, an audit intern would basically shadow senior associates to find out more about what they do in the company. Stuff we typically did included listening on calls and having meetings.
Skills
I learned more about auditing and what it takes to be one. The most important skill that I've been able to develop my time management skills. I have also improved on communication and networking skills, as I met people from all over the country.
Business Insight
It was really exciting to get to know more about the finance world, as I am not currently studying anything that has to do with finance.
Culture
The company culture is terrific, definitely better than I expected. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help each other out wherever they can.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the insight. It was very fascinating and interesting to get to know more people and understand the policies of the company and the finance world.
Yes
One thing I would advice anyone is to show determination and strong work ethic towards any role you are applying to.
