    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • It was amazing to get a feel for what opportunities there are within HSBC. I certainly wasn’t aware of many of the teams such as GPS and CIB but they’re now teams that really interest me and I’m glad I got the chance to explore them.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Everybody I came across was incredibly helpful and willing to explain concepts I was confused around. I was never made to feel like I was wasting anyone’s time even if I asked really basic questions.

    Your Impressions

  • 5. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I was hesitant going in as I had a preconception that everyone would be doing a Finance or Economics degree and I would feel unknowledgeable. However this couldn’t have been further from the truth, and I got to speak with so many different people and learn so many new things, and I am so incredibly glad and grateful to have done the insight.

  • Don’t stress at all about not fitting in or feeling out of place. Everyone there is passionate about making you included and comfortable, and it is such a great environment.
