    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I support the LCV team in Product and Conversions. On a day-to-day basis I complete and ad-hoc tasks requested from my managers, and any reporting and analysis that I need to complete, such as, competitor analysis, offers comparison, price comparison, product specification checks, brochure updates, market review, Conversions report. I have daily calls with different converters to discuss volume, supply and product.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • My Excel skills have developed significantly as I work with Excel daily, this has also helped with my analytical skills, looking at data daily to generate an analysis for decision making. My communicative skills have also developed significantly both digitally and in person, this has effectively improved my confidence both professionally and personally. I have had a lot of experience working in a team in the past, but working with a team daily has allowed me to grow as a team player and has shown the importance of collaboration in a team, specifically in this role, collaboration is essential for decision making for not only the product, but also for the company.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a lot more responsibility than I thought I would be. Initially it was daunting but it has helped with my confidence in my abilities. As each week goes by you are given more responsibility whether its a larger task or a small task, but this continues to help with personal growth and confidence in the role.
