    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I am currently on my Events & Comms team rotation. It is a varied role which changes depending on the stage of the event and what the event manager needs eg drafting key documents such as event concepts and mailings. I do a lot of personal development such as workshops and meeting with the accelerate cohort to reflect.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I've had the chance to learn and enhance many different skills already from IT skills (excel, mural, CRM systems) to people skills (influencing, working with key stakeholders). As we do different rotations, it is a great chance to explore different career paths and learn what different job entails. For me, this means learning completely new things such as event management.
