Overview
Skills sessions to improve competencies in the workplace, wealth/coutts specific panel talks, Q&A's, networking sessions, team challenge
Skills
Developed confidence, presenting and networking skills. Gained a deeper understanding of the function of the bank and it's different areas, as well as gaining an insight into the specific field of Wealth at Coutts that I am interested in.
Business Insight
Honestly I found it very inspiring as it opened my eyes to so may opportunities within the bank as well as the ability to move around. The people I spoke to in Coutts were truly passionate about their jobs, and described how the graduate programmes allow you to fully understand the areas of the business before you choose to specialise.
Culture
So lovely and welcoming, honestly NatWest seems like such a lovely place to work. Supporting colleagues is engrained in the business vision, and as a women i feel so encouraged by the efforts the bank is taking to improve gender balance
Your Impressions
Very much, I feel a lot more confident and inspired about starting my career. Particularly as a woman, I also feel more included in the world of banking and now believe it is a much more realistic career route for me.

Definitely go for it, regardless of your background. NatWest is such a welcoming and inclusive group, I truly believe there is a place for everyone within the bank
