Overview
Shadowed graduates in technology consulting, networked with colleagues from graduates to partners, gained understanding of the culture of the firm and learned more about the graduate scheme in my capability.
Skills
Developed communication and networking skills especially through experiencing the office in person. Also developed my technical skills through learning about new software and processes within the capability.
Business Insight
Incredibly insightful - I learned about my route into the company the following year. I got the opportunity to speak to and gain advice from many others who were on similar pathways to me which was immensely valuable.
Culture
Incredibly inclusive and really welcoming. Throughout my whole experience everyone was very sociable towards me and the other interns. I got to experience an amazing social side to the company during my time there which I did not expect to be involved with so soon.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed this experience immensely. I got the opportunity to work with other interns as well as experience training and hence learn more about the company. The environment was extremely welcoming and therefore I found it very easy and comfortable to integrate into the cohesive atmosphere that the firm has to offer. I have developed many skills throughout my time working that I will most definitely rake through with me into my future career.
Yes
Make the most of the experience through talking to as many people as possible. Everyone was so approachable so this was made very easy. Also try to head into the office as much as you can as the social side to the internship was very enjoyable and valuable.
