The Role
It is a hard and busy placement but really enjoyable. You are an employee not a placement student and i loved that
I felt very valued, you really are another member of the team and if you do a good job they tell you about it.
My manager was amazing. Despite being based abroad she was really helpful and she was very happy to help with any issues and if i had any questions she was always available.
It is busy, if you want a placement where you can chill out a little bit then this isnt for you. But you are trusted and the events you go on can be really fun. You work hard but you are appreciated for it.
I was given my work and projects and any mistakes/successes were mine as i said before you are another employee so they trust you.
This has taught me so much. I feel the skills I picked up are going to help me through my life and this placement has taught me that I want to work in this industry in the future
The Company
Great team to work with. A good laugh and willing to help
Well organised as there has been a placement student in this role for years so the process is generally well worked. Manager was very helpful as were the rest of the team,
I had a month hand over with the previous intern which is where most of my training took place but my manager occasional trained me up on new tasks she wanted to take place.

There are a large number of gard roles but unfortunately none in the marketing area which is the area I would like to go into.
The Culture
With there being over 40 interns in the office its a very friendly place and there are lots of oppotunites from intern nights out to the intern football team
Pretty cheap as most interns live in Reading which is not an expensive place to be.
Reading is ok but it is a lot of clubs which are pretty similar. No great variation
Lots constant invites to do stuff with other employees and as you are only 30 mins from london on the train its pretty good
