The Role
Very enjoyable, lots of other interns made it very social. Always felt supported and given good level of opportunities.
Never felt an 'intern' in my team. Felt respected and valued from everyone.
Was able to get support on all issues.
Always had atleast some work to do, would have preferred to be a bit busier on the whole.
Given much higher responsibility than I thought I would get, helps you to learn under pressure.
Not sure if I have l learnt any skills which I can apply to my degree, perhaps working longer hours. Skills beyond degree invaluable however.
The Company
Felt like standard office work place - everyone was friendly.
Very well set up. Lived in halls start of month, had training, handover period, overall very good.
Lot's of tools available for me to develop.
Flexi Time
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Would work for HP again.
The Culture
Great, went out every week, very social, made very good friends.
Housing costs seemed about average. Going out was expensive, London drink prices!
Reading is OK, you can have a good night but the clubs/bars are nothing special.
Charity work + volunteer days.
