Overview
I normally attend any meetings planned for the day then proceed to code for my projects. I take regular coffee (which is provided by a free barista) or games room breaks when I feel stumped.
Skills
Learned more about AI, chatbots and modelling. Improved Presentation skills though practice and workshops. Learned about the payment industry, how it works etc... Developed as a person through the many workshops.
Responsibilities
I was given full responsibility on how I would see though my project, from start to finish, and felt appreciated the trust placed in me. I felt like my project has a lot of protentional and was very meaningful .
Support & Guidance
I was given a buddy for "casual" support and a point of contact in my team for my project related questions. They were very welcoming and not judging, no matter the question.
Culture
Good, I felt appreciated, welcomed, and part of the team immediately. It is apparent that Visa really cares about diversity, charity, and sustainability as they have often promote new charity events, diversity talks etc... In particular during my time at Visa, I was part of the Global case challenge where we were tasked to present ideas on how Visa can use its network to help during a natural crisis. Furthermore, we often have socials.

It was a great experience. I enjoyed every aspect of it, my work, my teams, the company etc...

Be confident in your coding abilities and be a team player. Furthermore, interest in finance/payments will take you a long way.
