Overview
For the summer internship, my primary role was the development of a yearly study surrounding digital payments in the Nordics. I conducted market research, analyzed consumer insights and analyzed data from our own sources. I created the structure of the report, gathered intelligence and analyzed data to create a draft. I also supported with day-to-day tasks in client projects.
Skills
New skills in working with Excel and PowerPoint. Developed existing skills in communication, presentation skills, planning, structuring and creating timelines for the work.
Responsibilities
Yes, full responsibility of the report. I created my own tasks and deadlines to ensure that the work would be finalized by the end of the internship
Support & Guidance
Less than maybe I would have hoped for. This is because of the holidays. However, it enabled me to develop and trust my own instincts and work. I did have several sessions for guidance, but it was on me to book such sessions.
Culture
The overall culture in the company is really great and supportive. The culture and atmosphere is different however here in the Nordics, which I appreciate because I work best in that kind of setting.
