    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working as part of a team supporting one of Visa's signature clients. Both involved with BAU (business as usual) work - the maintenance of the relationship - as well as an overall project to support the team in the future. Also given the opportunity to network with other sectors within Visa.

  • I have become far better at networking, as well as drastically increased my skill with excel - I had hardly used it before this internship but it has since become second nature!

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • A lot. The main project you are set is entirely your responsibility - with its completion relying only on your work ethic. This is rather being thrown into the deep end, but it means you shall have something to deliver that is truly your own.

  • It really varies. You don't get much handed to you, but if you go out and ask people for assistance then 9 times out of 10 they'll be more than happy to spare time for you and chat.

  • Company culture is great. Everyone really willing to help out or even just chat about what they do.
