    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working on multiple different projects for an investment banking. My duties are mostly around researching, presenting, designing, and maintaining pure software development projects, with a strong focus on programming and security. The environment is fast paced and the learning curve is high, therefore I also perform internal training to understand the "concepts" of an investment banking and working for them as a part of a tech team.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Morgan Stanley
  • Do not panic and do not think that someone needs to be the best of the best in order to join the firm. Morgan Stanley is eager to help and let people learn properly. Is normal to feel lost, is normal to feel that the majority of things are unknown, that's the point. Internships and placements are meant to learn and discover new things and new methodologies.
