Overview
Working with clients in order to audit financial statements, involved looking at financial statements and documents to prepare evidence in order to form a conclusion.
Skills
Learnt to use specific software such as Aura and connect as well improving competency in using excel. Developed a greater understanding in the use of financial statements to gather evidence for the audit.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility in the internship in gathering evidence and producing documents to be used/read by clients.
Support & Guidance
The team were very informative at all times during client work and supported me with any queries I had. During the internship every intern is allocated a buddy and career coach that provides constant support during the whole experience and guidance.
Culture
People are always keen to help and clear up any queries you may have. There is always a willingness to learn amongst the company and everyone is very supportive.
Your Impressions
The internship was very beneficial in developing my career readiness. Working with a team and closely with clients was both informative and enjoyable.

Understand the core company values prior to the interview. Time management is key during the assessment centre.
