Overview
Assisted in preparing the documentation for auditing tax for several companies.
Skills
Understanding financial statements, finding official documents from government sites, using the technology platforms used by PwC
Responsibilities
I was entrusted with actual auditing tasks that contributed to the team's client engagements.
Support & Guidance
We were given at least 2 to 3 main people to mentor us during the internship - a career coach, a buddy, and people to shadow. They were the primary support touchpoints. But everyone in the team I was working with were very accommodating for any question we had and gave guidance willingly.
Culture
They were very welcoming and professional. There were several opportunities to socialise in more casual settings too.
Your Impressions
It was definitely as best as I could hope for as an internship.
Yes
Research about the company and the role you are applying for, prepare for the different recruitment stages as best you can. The experience is worth it.
