Overview
I help support various transformation projects across the HR business area.
Skills
I've developed project management and stakeholder management skills. I've also gained new skills in Microsoft Powerpoint.
Responsibilities
I was able to take part in meetings and contribute to the transformation projects from my perspective which was an amazing opportunity.
Support & Guidance
Any support or concerns you have are listened to. My line manager had meetings with me every week to check up on me and see how I was doing.
Culture
Everyone is super friendly and are really helpful if you have a question or you're struggling to understand something. They treat you fairly and no question is too silly to ask.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it thoroughly and I really do recommend anyone who is interested in HR to apply to the HR Summer Analyst scheme because it's a great opportunity to learn about HR in a huge corporation like Barclays.
