  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Sitting in client calls to understand the daily role of a Natwest Premier Wealth Manager, self-directed learning to understand more about the organization and the specific role. Working on group-based business project and group-based CSR project, as well as conducting personal self-directed learning using resources available.

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Not too much, but it was good so as to not feel like I was being thrown into the deep end. It was enough to get first-hand experience on what working in the organization and in this role would look and feel like.

  • A lot, particularly from my line manager would would schedule daily check-ins and ensure that I was constantly learning from her or from other mediums in order to make my time interning a worthy one.

  • Always encouraging learning at all levels, a very flat hierarchy which allows you to communicate and get to know anyone and everyone, and an inclusive place to be at.
