    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responsible for Data Disposition within WREF portfolio: - Discovery, organization and migration of structured, unstructured and physical data - Managing and maintaining the scoping templates [scoping 1 & 2] ensure it is up to date and reflects the single source of truth and audit trail for all WREF Unstructured Data repositories - Supporting on communication out to impacted employees [transfer folders, migrations etc]. Involved in Bedrock project integrating sites from EMEA, APAC and Americas into the 'WREF Management' structure- cooperation with WREF PMO and building a new scope of sites.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, I was responsible for data migration and communication within WREF. I was also responsible for change controls of a big project called Bedrock which aimed to incorporate sites under WREF management.

  • Very good. You can see people smiling and respecting each other. GSK values such as integrity and transparency are on a high level and you can feel that everyone in the industry follow this.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I really enjoyed my placement year. I learned a lot about myself and which direction I want to follow in the future. I had a great opportunity to get involved in massive projects and play a big role in it. I am really thankful for the new skills I developed and respect I got from everyone in the industry.
