    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I learnt experimental techniques from working in a laboratory as well as data analysis skills via the use of a new software for multivariate data modelling. I also learnt the practical aspects of supporting a manufacturing process and how to react to unexpected circumstances. I improved my soft skills of liaising with colleagues and external suppliers as well as presentation and report writing, significantly increasing my confidence. Teamwork was also a fundamental skill that I further developed as there was a significant amount of collaboration between team members to achieve common goals.
