The Role
It was hard work at times, staying till late at night. However, I learnt alot about the technology and myself.
The whole company is in teams, and sub teams etc. and everyone helps each other out
I can always contact my manager (who is based in romania) we also have a host who sits with us.
The longer I am at the company the busier I get...because they know we will be leaving soon. So they want us to do all the complicated things.
I am the owner of a internal site that over 300 people all over the world use.
i have dabbled with a lot of technologies, and languages that are transferable to any IT job.
The Company
Everyone is very hardworking, although relaxed at the same time.
We did not receive much information...and any that we did get was very last minute. Accomodation information less than a month before, the placement....after I had found myself a house.
We were encouraged to all the training we could and training was on-going.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Depends on the financial situation and current job cuts.
The Culture
Could have been more social...there is different groups of people who dont mix togather alot of the time.
A little expensive, to what I am used too. But well worth it.
So many places to go, and not enough days...
There was always volunteering oppurtunities, fundraising trips etc.
