    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • A good level of meaningful work provided, seems that it depended largely on whether managers felt confident in your capabilities. I was often given lots of autonomy over my work and left to get-on with tasks independently, but with plenty of support. Was brought into larger projects across teams which gave meaningful exposure to the business.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Provided a clear line manager within each rotation and a wider support team to work with. MDs and senior managers were all extremely generous with their time, often reaching out for 1on1 time. A buddy system established with graduates and mentor scheme with an independent employee in a separate team. Generally very supportive and plenty of guidance throughout the scheme.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Overall, a very impressive company culture and interns are treated extremely well. Plenty of networking opportunities and a genuine enthusiasm to help us feel involved in the company. Plenty of diversity and charity initiatives. Internship was mostly online due to Covid so socialising opportunities were limited, although all employees were very friendly when we were able to visit the office.
