Overview
As a finance summer analyst you are required to assist numerous finance team with their daily roles, ensuring deadlines are met.
Skills
Morgan Stanley allowed me to develop my professional and numeric skills alongside gaining new skills of both stakeholder relations and understanding on regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
From day one you are given individual tasks to complete which are crucial for real projects. Interns were given lots of responsibility throughout the summer with the team always being able to give support when needed.
Support & Guidance
My manager kept in constant communication with me. She let me produce my own work and explore projects whilst ensuring me that if i needed help all i had to do was ask. The support and guidance from the whole team was second to none.
Culture
The company culture was one of inclusiveness and respect. No one was too important to help, with executive directors always making themselves available to help interns with their career choices and progressions.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the networking aspect the most. I was able to work and converse with a vast variety of individuals, all who were unique and extremely motivating.
