Overview
Working on M&A transactions and providing corporate broking advice to clients in the energy industry, including preparing pitch books, financial models and other strategic materials.
Skills
I have substantially developed my financial modelling skills and operational Powerpoint skills.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given a huge amount of responsibility, interacting directly with senior figures at client companies and running projects with relative autonomy.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance both from the HR function and from my manager within my team.
Culture
There was a very collegiate atmosphere within the team I worked in and the broader firm.

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship - it was an intense learning experience and provided plenty of opportunities for personal growth.
