    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • worked within the PwC office and had various coffee meeting with different team members, in which I was able to get great in depth into the service line I was in, the firm and different diversity initiatives, and the day to day role. Did various tasks that incoming graduates do on a daily basis and was able to get feedback on how to improve in preparation for actual work once I graduate. Overall very enjoyable

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I greatly enhanced my networking skills as I was talking to different members across the firm, all of whom were different levels of seniority. This intense networking also helped me better my communication and interpersonal skills and other relevant attributes. I was also able to great industry insight and depth, which helped me develop my technical skills as I was able to apply what I had theoretically learnt to real like working scenarios and tasks

  • got very good insight and depth into the services PwC provides to their clients and the cross-service value they can provide. It was great to get such good understanding into my own designated service line and i learnt so much more about how it operates individually as a department and overall within the business. Also got great insight into the various graduate role opportunities and different career paths one can take to end up in the department

  • very much enjoyed the programme. The company culture was great and I was able to get great insight into the firm, the type of work they do and how my department fits into the wider framework of the firm. • 8. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC
  • do alot of research into the service line you are interested in and how it ties into the wider framework of the firm. Practice the tests as much as you can as they can be tricky, and for the assessment centre, stay ontop of current affairs and have a genuine reason why you wan to work for PwC over other countries. Have a clear structure when approaching your written task and be personable during the group taks
