The role involves building new systems to be integrated into a larger project, checking if the design for those systems is possible, prototyping and then integrating them into the project itself.
I have learnt many new skills over the internship. I have learnt docker, kubernetes and typescript. I have also developed my professional skills such as how to integrate into a team and how to interact with clients.
I was given as much responsibility as the other members of the team.
I received a really good amount of guidance. I was given the space to try things and learn for myself while also being part of a team that were more than happy to point me in the right direction if I ever got too stuck.
The company culture is really welcoming. Everyone is really friendly and wants to help each other and share knowledge with each other. People are more than willing to put down their own work to help someone else who needs their expertise or even just an extra set of eyes to see what is going wrong.
I really loved the internship. It was a great experience and I have grown a lot in just the 12 weeks that I was there.
Yes
Just go for it. There is no harm in applying so just give it your all. Do some assessment centre practice in advance so that you can really nail the assessment centre in the interviews.
