  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Could not ask for a better placement opportunity, here in Canary Wharf.

    • My team were incredible, both in the workplace and when socialising outside.

    • My manager has been truly invaluable whilst working here.

    • Varies from day-to-day, some days can be busy beyond words the next day very steady.

    • To start you are able to find your feet, after that you are responsible from day 1 of fulfilling your role.

    • Definately influenced my choice of modules final year e.g. working with accounting principles this year so I chose accounting modules for final year.

    • Great balance of work and socialising; priorities definately in place though.

    • HR in constant contact.

    • Opportunity to train (online courses) however often very busy with job role.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Often there were social events throughout the year.

    • Cannot comment as I commuted from home.

    • Canary Wharf is more pubs/bars for after work drinks.
