Overview
SPARK is a 1 week scheme that allows law students to experience life at Clifford Chance. It is an excellent way to practically expand your knowledge of commerical law, and what a commerical lawyer does in their day-to-day work. The scheme included talks from a range of lawyers from different practice areas.
Skills
Understanding of commerical law, what different practice areas do and what skills a commercial lawyer needs to excel.
Business Insight
Great. Commerical law can be hard to really understand without a real experience of it. A lot of information online is quite inaccurate so having a real glimpse was very useful.
Culture
Very good. Speaking to a range of solicitors from trainees to the head partner, it was evident that the atmosphere at the firm and on the scheme is/was fantastic
Your Impressions
Thought it was very fun. Several 'social' evenings (despite being virtual) meant that there was enjoyable evenings. The days were enjoyable too, however I expect that they would have been even more fun in person.

Work experience is very useful! Show your interest in a commerical law!
