Overview
We were involved with case studies and provided our own insight into potential problems that were evident in contracts. Also, we were involved in networking lunches and had an opportunity to ask questions and build connections with Clifford Chance's employees. We also met important members of the firm such as their diversity and inclusion head as well as some of the partners of the firm. Overall it was a great opportunity to learn.
Skills
I have developed my communication skills while also learning skills such as legal analysis. My confidence and teamwork skills have also been developed as a result of Clifford Chance's program.
Business Insight
It felt truly inclusive that Clifford Chance was willing to take their time and teach us all about the legal world, it made me feel empowered and more comfortable to know that I can have a legal career despite my limited knowledge and background.
Culture
Everyone was very welcoming and very helpful. All the speakers and employees were so supportive and relatable which reflected Clifford Chance's ethos to give back to the wider community.
