I’ve always had an interest in what goes on behind the scenes. I used to watch the Ghanaian news with my parents and see stories about new developments in Africa. It wasn’t until I went to university that I realised commercial lawyers had a big role to play in getting these bridges built. Now that I have a Training Contract at Clifford Chance, I’m hoping to do just that. I’m looking forward to working on ground-breaking deals that make an impact on the lives of everyday citizens. I’m excited to collaborate with talented, driven people who care as much as I do. I met some of them at a graduate event recently, and they were so down-to-earth. My journey hasn’t been straightforward; I knew I wanted to get into law from a young age, but the timing just wasn’t right. Resilience and my determination to succeed is what has got me to this point.
