    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I enjoyed it a lot - and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting insight/considering job in the industry. Team was amazing, workload was manageable (I only worked late a handful of days during the 8 weeks - but out of my own initiative). I enjoyed the diversity of the experience (various projects, placement work, sessions and speakers). Enjoyed the social aspect - met with other interns. It pays good money so makes for a great summer!

  • Yes

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group
  • Consider applying to location where you'd want to do your grad role (if applicable). Before the interview/assessment centre: do research on NW Group and mention their commitments and successes that resonated with you - so they can see you really want the job. Stay focused and confident in the assessment center - although it's a long day it's worth it. Write down names of people from your assessment centre - when you start the onboarding process you can reach out to them so it helps with being social and getting to know other interns. Be social and try to meet as many people as you can. Ask any questions you can come up with, everyone is very open with the interns.
