The Role
I found the week incredibly informative and interactive.
The business representatives were happy to answer any questions and discuss their experience at Morgan Stanley.
The idea of having programme deans was very useful in terms of guidance throughout the week and answering any queries.
The days were very long and busy, but this is something that I found enjoyable and reflective of the culture of Morgan Stanley.
We took part in several interactive sessions and created group presentations, which allowed me to take on responsibility throughout the week.
The week was a great insight into banking and Morgan Stanley, and what I learned is invaluable.
The Company
It was an enjoyable atmosphere with everyone working hard and learning a lot.
There were no organisational problems at all, and I was really impressed with the time business representatives took out of their busy days to give presentations or for work shadowing.
The entire week was about the intellectual and personal development of the interns.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would definitely apply here for a summer internship.
The Culture
The group presentations were a good chance to mingle outside of working hours and go out for dinner, etc.
London is a very expensive city, however, Morgan Stanley subsidised all travel and lunches.
London has a great nightlife, and there was a networking dinner on the Thursday which was fantastic.
There were opportunities to meet up with business representatives for work shadowing after the day ended, however, the days were quite long and this was limited.
