    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Worked in the Buying a Home business area (part of mortgages) as a Planning and Support Manager. This involved strategic thinking about innovative ways to optimise customers' experience when they apply for a mortgage or need help with their mortgage. One main project I took part in was creating a report on updates in the mortgage market to guide people across the business.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I enjoyed my placement. It was a brilliant opportunity to learn really valuable skills before you graduate, and the internship is organised to be able to maximise this. The other interns were all lovely - it was just a shame we didn't have many opportunities to meet in person due to COVID.
