    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Morning catch-up with my placement manager to review my objectives and assign tasks for the day. Have team meetings once a week with other Associates and RDs. Sit through client meetings. Create Head of Terms, CM, MI and other documents to analyse client performance. Undertake training to develop commercial awareness.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I had to log MI for 15 clients into the main system used which the whole group had access to In charge of creating Market commentary for June which all the Associates used in the Credit Application Remarks. Updated CIPs based on what the client sends through. Drafted out a Heads of Terms (first bonding contract between client and bank) from scratch for a client.

  • I worked with 4 RDs, 1 ARD and 3 Associates to learn more on loan transactions and the products offered. They were all willing to take time out to explain the different tasks to me and give me feedback on my work.
