  • 1. Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • The experience provided an insight into the Global Advisory and Wealth Management divisions. Each day consisted of presentations or networking sessions where we could interact with the bankers to understand their roles and ask many questions. Alongside this, we were given the opportunity to work on an interesting group presentation and presented this to bankers and HR at the end of the experience.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • As a result of this experience, I have developed an array of skills. Firstly, I have been able to improve my commercial awareness and research ability due to the group presentation work. Also, the presentation and skills workshop improved my communicational ability and leadership skills. Finally, this experience has enhanced my teamworking and networking skills due to both the group presentation work and the many icebreaker and networking sessions available.
