    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • I was able to gain hands-on experience with project work as well shadowing my mentor in her meetings. I also attended various webinars on the peoples networks and mental health support at PwC.

  • I have hugely developed my communication skills, since I met so many new people on the program and had to practice introducing myself and leading conversations. I also improved my time management skills, since I had to manage my meeting schedule and work schedule myself.

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • It was amazing to learn about the variety of roles that were available to management consultants. I was surprised by how diverse the area of consulting can be and how flexible PwC is in allowing its employees to experience that diversity.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The atmosphere was very comfortable and there was a general culture of constant development and learning. It was impressive to see how people in more senior roles of the firm were still learning: both from the people around them and the clients.

  • I really enjoyed the insight. Everyone was much more supportive and welcoming than I thought and I learned so many new skills and knowledge.

  • Always raise your hand and be open to new opportunities! I learned the most when I stepped out of my comfort zone. Likewise, don't hesitate to apply even if you think it is a stretch for you.
