    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The insight program was very well structured especially given the climate it was held under. I think the team did a great job in organising the whole program to be online in the short space of time that they had to do it. The program ran smoothly throughout the duration

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Given that it was an online insight they did a great job creating a good environment where we could feel comfortable asking questions and interacting with the organisers

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm did a great job in keeping in contact with everyone both before and after the program started and also during the program. They also gave us options to apply for additional placement in Morgan Stanley next year. I think that this is a great opportunity for us to come back with more knowledge of the firm.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • We were given lots of talks by all.sorts of workers in firm including people who had taken part in the same insight program as us and we're just completed the graduate program. This gave us a really good insight into what it would be like working there full time and the live of work we would be partaking in

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • I think we got a very good insight into the company's culture as we got to hear from meant different people from all different departments. This helped us understand how each person viewed the culture of the company and everyone gave really positive feedback about it. It really helped show us how the employees see the company's culture

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • I found the content extremely helpful in giving me guidance on my future career path. It helped to show me the types of opportunities available for me in a company like Morgan Stanley and it also helped me to realise the what skills would be important in these roles. The information we received will definitely help me in the future

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Given the fact that this ended up being an online Spring Insight program there was no expenses for us. However had the program taken place as normal in London we would have received full expenses paid back. There were also expenses paid had you already booked your travel and could not cancel.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • We got the chance to hear from lots of different employees and to ask them questions about the roles they have and learn more about them. We were also given the chance to network with our other interns but since the program was online these were the only viable options that we could take advantage of.

    3/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • The networking opportunities given were great. We were given a talk about the importance of networking first and also given the opportunity to provide our contact information, if we wished, to the other interns so that we could remain in contact after the online program ended. I thought this was a very good way to give us networking opportunities

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes we did. We were told about the different opportunities given to employees to partake in activities such as charity work while also being given information about different activities that current employees have taken part in. It seemed like there were great opportunities to get involved in activities outside the company

    3/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes I would definitely recommend this insight program to a friend. As mentioned I found it very helpful, really insightful and extremely interesting. It was a great experience and I am very glad I took part. The staff made us feel very welcome and the program was very well organised for us.
