  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed most days and had a lot of interesting varied work however there were a couple where it was a little repetative/mundane. However most of it was very insightful and the nature of the work kept it interesting aswell as the people being very freindly and good to talk to created a really enjoyable atmosphere

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given a lot of support by my career coach Charlotte and often recieved feedback on my work of what i did well and not so well. This allowed me to act on this improve and recieve more feedback for similiar tasks and show improvement on similiar tasks in future.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It vaired a lot from day to day. Some days i would stay later and work extra time because there were lots of tasks to complete. other days i had a little spare time where i had to spend time requesting work or i completed the work i had with slightly more detail because i had the capacity to do so.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I felt that i was given a moderate amount of responsibility over my placement. This is because there were quite a few tasks which were for clients rather than internal tasks and obiously my work was checked if it was up to scratch would be used for the client. there were also certain tasks i had to do with time constraints that had to be done correctly and therefore there was alot of responsibility on these.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My course isnt relevant to this internship in technical skills as i do engineering however the broader and soft skills developed will help me not just in finishing my degree but also in general. I feel that this internship has taught me valuable skills for my future in academia and career.
