  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • My internship was a very insightful experience. I got exposure to different teams and products.

    • My colleagues welcomed me very well when I joined the team. They were very supportive and would provide me with clear guidance.

    • I was given guidance at every stage of my placement but I was also given full autonomy and responsibility on my work

    • Depending on the weeks, my days were on average reasonably busy

    • I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility for example I was in permanent contact with the clients and my manager would trust me when I was communicating with them

    • I have developed strong financial skills thanks to my internship and enhanced my knowledge in equities and bonds

    • The atmosphere was very enjoyable. Everyone was nice and thoughtful

    • the internship was very well organised I had a staffer during each part of my rotation who would allocation the workload between all the analysts

    • I had a training at the beginning of my placement which helped me master the basic tools used on a daily basis on the desk

    • There was an excellent atmosphere amongst my fellow placement and we would usually help each other when needed

    • The cost of living and socialising in the area is very high

    • The nighlife is every enjoyable in this area we would usually go for drinks with my colleagues
