  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have definitely learned a lot about audit but the internship was not organised really well.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I did not have a set team to work with during my time at PwC therefore it was hard to get to know people. Also, lots of social events have been cancelled.

  • Everyone was usually keen to help.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • On some days I did not have any work to do and had to go and ask around the office which was quite awkward. But there were times when I was given too many tasks and was expected to work longer hours.

  • I was pleasantly surprised about how much responsibility is given to interns.

  • It was a positive learning experience!

  • The distribution of work was very badly organised. I have been assigned to a project but got told that there is no work that I can help with so I had to go and ask people around the office to give me stuff to do...

  • Excellent 3 day training program in London at the start of the internship!

  • Most of summer interns get offered to join the Graduate Scheme.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were only two interns in total in the Aberdeen office but we got along really well!

  • Average

  • Aberdeen is a student city with lots of places to go to for a good night out!

  • There were a couple of sporting events and drink socials advertised, however some of them got cancelled.
