The Role
Got an experience working in the office and going out to clients site
They were very welcoming and friendly.
When left a piece of work to do and I needed assistance, they would help me and explain it
When out on client site, I got the experience to see what audit accountants do on an every day basis. I was then set a tasks which were challenging but interesting and some were quite lengthy. However at times, when I finished the work, we wouldn't be given extra tasks - just observing
I was given responsibility, looking at customer accounts, checking invoices/balances. I had to be professional and confidential with the information.
The Company
Open plan - partners and employees everyone friendly and welcoming and nice atmosphere I like the idea of 'dress for the day' - casual/smart in office When in client site dress appropriate - dress smart
very well organised - welcomed on first day and checked documents. However, I did have problems with my document that waste timed at the start which was annoying. they apologised for inconvenience on day and at final meeting with patner. I knew that the documentation had to be presented. Then given tour of office, then provided with laptops, told agenda for the week and then we began with our work experience
I got offered a Job for September 2018 if achieve a 2:1 or higher in Queens for my degree
The Culture
